Dredging a Narcomoeba actually puts it into play which would allow you to use dread returns flashback cost to reanimate a Flame-Kin Zealot. Basically a dredge deck abuses the "dredge" ability by being able to dump Bridge From Below, Narcomoeba, Dread Return, and usually something like Flame-Kin Zealot into the graveyard. The 'link' when creating a post wasn't working, so I manually guessed at the syntax and lost!ĭredge (the mechanic) itself is not that good, a well built dredge decklist is. If you're looking for a more indepth article on Dredge, here is a good article: ĮDIT: Fixed the links. Cabal Therapy and Dread Return kill those creatures so you get tons of zombies and overwhelm your opponent. Bridge from Below replaces those creatures with zombies when they die. Two kinds of creatures come into play from your graveyard. TL DR - Dredge puts cards into your graveyard. Multiple Bridge from Belows means tons of Zombies all 4 Bridges means a Dread Return gets you 12 2/2 Zombies and a big fatty. You can sacrifice three creatures to bring back any other creatures typically this is Golgari Grave-Troll, Iona, or Flame-kin Zealot. It only has an effect when in your graveyard, so Dredging this is good! Multiple of these means you get tons of Zombies if you have 2 Bridges when an Ichorid dies, you get 2 2/2 Zombies.Ĭabal Therapy - This allows you to discard your opponent's counterspells or removal best of all, its flashback cost is sacrificing a creature, something that synergizes with Bridge from Below.ĭread Return - This is the 'big' spell on the deck. It makes it so when Ichorid and Narcomoebas die, you get 2/2 zombies. When these are in your graveyard, you can recur them every turn by exiling creatures like Putrid Imp (Putrid Imps are used to discard Dredgers if the Imps are in your hand if not, they are exiled to Ichorids).īridge from Below - This is the big one.
